Midsummer

After Midsummer night

When the witches take flight

The blazing sun rises

        to its ultimate height

The loooonnnnngest day

When the fairies play

And the wheat stalks sway

Let the midnight sun

Burn in everyone

Now set aside woe

         for the work is done

Dragon's Breath

The great blossoming and fruiting at this time, all of it is birthed out of death.

It goes back to the earth, then returns, like the in and out of your breath

This outpouring of heat and light

Leads back to the cold winter night

Around and around and around turns the good earth

Over and over and over, birth, life, death and rebirth

Leap over the fire

Burn away the old

Let it inspire

Us all to be bold
